2012 RHP Riley Stephenson (Boonsboro, MD) has committed to UMBC. Stephenson has a mid – high 80s fastball and great pitchability. Stephenson played his showcase ball for the Canes baseball program.

2012 LHP/OF Connor Shockley (Bennett, MD) has committed to play at Salisbury. Connor is a promising two-player who can really run and swing the bat. Primarily an OF Shockley should be a big pick-up for the D3 National power. Shockley plays his showcase ball for the Canes Baseball program.

2012 RHP Stephen Godfrey (Douglas Freeman, VA) has committed to play at Louisburg JC. Godfrey missed most of 2012 with an arm injury but has bounced back to form for Freeman this high school season. Godfrey most recently was apart of the Canes Baseball program and was apart of the their 2011 16u WWBA National Championship team.

2012 LHP Connor Staskey (Salem, VA) has committed to play for Coach Ryan Wheeler and the Temple Owls. Staskey is a lefty who can run his velo up to 90 with lots of armside movement. Staskey played his showcase baseball for the Canes baseball organization.

Four St. John’s (DC) Cadet 2012 baseball players have made their college decisions. IF/RHP Michael Flax will play at the University of Tennessee, OF Kyle Hamer is headed to the University of Scranton, IF Cam Kostyack has decided to attend Mary Washington College and OF Abram White will head south to Loyola University at New Orleans.

2012 OF Colton Konvicka, (Benedictine, VA) has committed to Longwood. Colton is an exceptional defender with game changing speed. Colton plays his showcase ball for the Virginia Cardinals.

2012 LHP Joe Manion (Powhatan, VA) has commited to play for the University of Massachusetts . Manion is a loose lefty whose fastball has arm side run and has good feel for his change-up. Joe plays his summer and fall baseball for the Virginia Cardinals.

2012 RHP Nick Grant (Milford, DE) has verbally committed to Liberty University. Grant is a big-strong right-hander with raw arm strength that has been clocked as high as 97 recently. He played his summer baseball for the Canes baseball program.
