What is the biggest stage you have ever played on, and why do you feel it was the biggest?
My team made it to Perfect Game’s Semi-Finals and it had the most professional and college scouts I have ever seen or played in front of.
You have made your college decision, why did you make that choice. What were some of the key factors?
The coaching staff is awesome. The coaches have been at UCONN for a long time and have placed many players in MLB and the pros. Head Coach Jim Penders does a great job getting players ready for professional baseball. Their facilities are great too.
If you had to win a game who would be your starting pitcher if you were calling the shots and why?
Randy Johnson – because he’s unhittable
Who has made the biggest impact on your baseball career to date, and why?
My dad. Because he pitches 300 balls to me every single day.
What kind of a team do you think your High School Team will be this spring? How far do you think you can go, and why?
We’ll be the best team in school history, and we’ll win a state title.
Who is the best player skill wise you have ever played with?
Who is the best teammate/leader you have ever played with and why? (please list the team it was on and year if possible)
Phil Madonna. He was a great role model when I was a freshman and led by example by showing up to practice early and never giving up. He is currently a sophomore at Sienna.
What kind of things have you done this off season to prepare for this upcoming season Spring/Summer/Fall? What are some of your weaknesses, and strengths you have worked on and how?
I’m on a pretty intense weight lifting program and speed training program. I’ve put on muscle weight I’ve wanted to, along with cutting my 60 time to a 7.0 flat.
What are you looking forward to most this year in the upcoming school/travel seasons (if 2016 ignore travel season part) and why?
Going for a state championship with my high school team
If you had a day away from the baseball field what would you go do for fun?
Who is your prediction to win the CWS this year? Why do you think this team will make a run in Omaha?
UCONN, of course. Great coaches along with top pitchers who are underrated.
