Courtland Wins in Walk-Off Over Riverbend

In a game that saw minimum offensive action, Courtland won in walk off fashion. Uncommitted Sophomore Addison Burrow laced a triple in the left center gap scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th. Courtland won 5-4. Below are some players who stood out.

Alex Kobersteen. The Senior George Washington commit started the game for the cougars. Went 4 innings on 56 pitches. On a bitter cold evening Kobersteen sat 86-87 and touched 89 a few times. Slider was 77-78. Fastball showed arm side run and sink.

Joel Tarrh- Sophomore Joel Tarrh started on the mound for Riverbend. Tarrh has a 6'3 frame that projects well on the mound. His fastball topped at 83. Breaking ball was 70. BB showed good action down at times. Arm worked long and loose on the backside. Definitely a arm to follow as he continues to develop. Will see him again as the season progresses.

Addison Burrow- Interesting 2020 LHH. Hit a walk off triple in the bottom of the 7th. Ball carries well off his bat from the left side. Athletic. Good speed around the bases.

Ryan Lee- 2018 Marymount baseball commit showed he can handle the bat. Fast twitch hitter with good feel for the barrel. Hit two balls hard.
