Calvert Cutters 18U Team Preview

–Top Position Players:

Michael Floria, OF, P: Rising sophomore who is a strong hitter and pitcher. Can locate ball, has velocity.

Cy Harwood, 2B: Rising sophomore with a great glove. Has put on 20 lbs of muscle since last season and is hitting leadoff for his varsity HS team.

Matt Pritchett, SS, P: Junior. Strong defensively, has excessive speed and a great arm. Also is a strong relief pitcher.

Jack Rosnage, C, OF: Rising sophomore. Strong frame, strong arm, power hitter.

–Top Pitchers:

Michael Floria: mid-70s, accuracy is his forte. Can locate the ball as he wished.

Robbie Stone: high 70s. Unique delivery throws batters off.

Ethan Poore: high 70s. Extremely accurate.

I expect the team to show great growth from last year. Most kids have committed to lifting and getting stronger. Pitching endurance should be improved this year as well.
