A chilly Monday evening saw Spotsylvania host King George in an end of the regular season matchup. Spotsylvania started Junior RHP Eugene Synder. Synder struggled with command at times but settled in later in the game. The scoring started in the 2nd inning as King George pushed one across to make it 1-0. King George continued to pile it on with the offense in the 3rd plating 3 more runs to extend their lead to 4-0. The Spotsy bats woke up in the 4th as they tied up the game up at 5. A big 5th for Spotsy gave them a 8-6 lead and they never looked back. The game ended in a 10-6 home win for Spotsy. Below is my take on a handful of top prospects from the game.
