Updated Dynamic Baseball Overall Spring Rankings (2017 Class)May 12, 2017
The 2017 High School baseball season is coming to an end in some of the states we cover as others are just getting to the heart of the season. Below is the updated Dynamic Baseball Top 150 for our coverage states (VA, NC, MD, DEL, PA and NJ) for the 2017 class. There are some change to the rankings mostly in the top 25. Mackenzie Gore holds firmly to the #1 spot in our rankings. The ECU commit has made a 3-4 MPH velo jump this spring consistently sitting in the low to mid 90s. Gore has a chance to go in the top 10 in this year’s upcoming draft
Austin Beck- Coming off season ending ACL surgery last year has been fantastic during his Senior campaign. Packing the house with scouts the UNC commit has risen up multiple draft boards from various well known publications. Beck has made a case to be a top 10 pick.
Greg Jones- The UNCW commit has shown off his tool set this spring helping his draft stock. A talk among the scouting community, Jones could find himself making a tough decision come June.
Tanner Morris- Morris has separated himself as one of the top SS on the East Coast. He is swinging strictly wood this spring and has done it extremely well showing off his gap to gap power. The UVA commit has done everything he can so far this spring to help his draft stock.
Tyler Solomon- The Vanderbilt commit has shown he can handle the bat this spring from both sides of the plate. He is a very sound receiver behind the dish.
Kaleb Stowe- The University of Charleston WV commit checks in at 129 in our top 150 rankings after the spring he is having so far. The RHP has been up to 89 this spring and continues to add velocity to along with his pitchability.
Hunter Johnson- An uncommitted 3B out of LCA in Virginia has impressed our scouting staff all spring. He shown off a solid hit tool to along with his solid actions defensively.
