Fred Nats Team Showcase – Sept 11 & 12
Mason Balsis – 2022 Catcher (Snyder Bucs) – shows good feel for barrel at the plate, strong and physical frame and showed lots of pop in game this weekend in Fredericksburg. Uncommitted catcher with big hit tool still on the board. Player to follow
George Rizzo – 2022 OF/MIF (Snyder Bucs) – compact swing with good bat speed. Uses all fields well and uses gap to gap approach at the plate.
Jose Romero – 2024 Catcher – swung a hot bat this weekend and showed ability at the plate. Romero often found his barrel this weekend for loud contact and extra base hits. Young player to follow.
Antonio Perrotta – 2023 INF (Mid Atlantic Red Sox) – compact left handed swing, has feel and ability to drive the balls in the gaps. UVA commit.
Cameron Johnson – 2023 LHP (Mid Atlantic Red Sox) – long and projectable frame w southpaw showing plus arm speed and sink action on his fastball. Fastball was firm sitting 87-89 topping 90. Maryland commit
NC State Team Showcase – Sept 11 & 12
Jalen Jones – 2023 OF (USA Prime Rockies Mayhew) – good presence in the box with physical frame to go with it. Swung the bat well with an aggressive approach. Fun player to watch. Norfolk State commit.
Ben Winslow – 2023 RHP/OF (USA Prime Rockies) – loose arm with good arm speed. Filled the zone with heavy FB sitting 85- 86 mixing in good breaking ball at 69-70. More in the tank, arm to follow.
Carson Edmiston – 2023 CIF (USA Prime Rockies) – long and athletic frame with smooth swing from the left side. Has good extension past contact and shows power to the gaps. Player to follow.
Grady Lenahan – 2025 OF (Canes Baseball) – has real feel at the plate, nice relaxed set up with quiet head and hands. Has aggressive approach and looks to barrel balls into the gaps. Young player to watch develop.
Jett Humphreys – 2025 RHP (Canes Baseball) – short arm stroke with good arm speed, gets down the mound well and fills the zone. FB was heavy sitting 82-84 topping 85. Young uncommitted arm to follow.
Boaz Harper – 2024 MIF (TPA Nationals 16u White) – athletic middle infielder that makes difficult plays look easy. Can really pick it in the middle infield. Room to grow at the plate once age and strength catch up. Player to watch develop.
Zac Martin – 2022 RHP (USA Prime Rockies) – showed live arm and FB seemed to jump out of hand. FB sat 83-85 topped 86 and mixed in firm slider with good shape at 75-77. Mixed pitches well and filled the zone with both pitches. Uncommitted arm to follow.
VA Wesleyan Team Showcase – Sept 11 & 12
Brady Lencz – 2022 LHP – showed clean arm action and loose arm on the bump at VA Wesleyan with FB sitting 80 -82 topping 83. Also had a big weekend at the plate with multiple extra base hits. Player to follow.
