2013 DYNAMIC BEST OF THE EAST SHOWCASE

Dynamic Baseball will conduct an individual showcase at the University of North Carolina on July 1-3, 2013. Dynamic Baseball puts on some of the premiere events on the East Coast and has become a favorite among college coaches and professional scouts over the past 5 years due to the talented players that come to our events. Don’t miss this opportunity to show off your ability and skills in front of numerous coaches and scouts. Players will be put through individual workouts as well as put on a team to play games. Workout will be at Chapel Hill High School and games will be played at UNC. Please fill out registration form and return to us as soon as possible as this showcase will fill up fast.

Dynamic Baseball previews one of the top 17U travel teams in America – EvoShield Canes. Pictured  at left is Conway High School (SC) RHP/OF Grant Holmes who will be a Florida Gator after graduation. When Evoshield Canes 17U Coach Jeff Petty comes to the park this summer and fall, the hardest job he and his staff will have is deciding which professional prospect they want to start on the mound that day and who will bat lead off or in the 9 hole. The EvoCanes 17U team boasts 24 man roster with 21 Division I commitments.  On paper, this is arguably the best 17U Canes team in their 7 year history.

DYNAMIC SPRING SKILL COMBINE RESULTS & TOP PERFORMANCES

5/19/2013 – On what seemed to be a doomed weekend for baseball in the Mid-Atlantic Region, mother nature seemed to have dealt the knock-out blow when early Saturday morning showers flooded Cosby HS in Midlothian. Determined not to let her rain on their parade the Dynamic Baseball staff worked diligently to find a solution. That solution came in the form of a last-second change of location to Riverbend HS in Fredericksburg. With the help of an infield tarp, a motivated staff and a little bit of good fortune from the Baseball Gods, 139 eager prospects showed up to show the 18 college coaches who showed up a preview of what they might see at our Dynamic Tournaments this summer.

Prospects like Nolan Pierce (Scotland, NC), pictured above, left lasting impressions with numbers like a 6.9 sixty (slow track), 87-89 FB velo off the bump and a 91 mph Velocity reading from the outfield! Inside you will find a link to the raw statistical numbers for all 139 participants and the top scores in categories like 60 yard dash, OF velocity, INF velocity, and Catcher POP times w/ velocities.

Throughout the week we will reveal “Member-Only” Content that includes TOP INF, Top Hitters,  and Top Prospect Reports from the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 classes.

DYNAMIC NATIONAL BASEBALL CLASSIC – SARASOTA, PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA OCTOBER 18-20

Dynamic Baseball will be offering a Tournament starting on the morning of Friday October 18th in Florida this upcoming fall. The event will be split up into two age divisions 18, and 16U. 17U teams will play in the 18u bracket, and 15u teams will play in the 16u bracket. The games will be played at the spring training facilities of the Baltimore Orioles, and The Tampa Bay Rays. These facilities are located in Sarasota, and Port Charlotte Florida. PROSPECT FOCUS – STEPHEN POLANSKY – HICKORY (VA)

This week’s final Dynamic Prospect Focus takes us back down to the Eastern Region which is home to 2015 Hickory (VA) outfielder and Virginia Tech commit Stephen Polansky. Polansky has been a staple of the Hawks line-up since his freshman year and a high level outfielder in the 2015 class for even longer. Known for swinging a smooth left-handed stick with gap to gap power, Polansky has become one of the more athletic recruits in the 2015 class and dangerous hitter in the Southeastern District. PROSPECT FOCUS – JACK GERSTENMAIER – DOUGLAS FREEMAN (VA)

Dynamic Baseball is back with another Dynamic Prospect Focus this time coming to you from the Central Region in the form of Douglas Freeman 2014 SS and UVA commit Jack Gerstenmaier. Gerstenmaier is an extremely athletic 2014 infielder who’s combination of superior foot speed and arm strength allow him to cover some serious ground from his shortstop position for the Rebels. A 3-year starter, “Gersty” bat packs a punch in the middle of Douglas Freeman’s line-up. With Jack anchoring a defense built strongly up the middle it’s no wonder why Freeman is seen as a favorite to bring home the Colonial District crown in 2013. Today our edition of Dynamic Prospect Focus takes us down to the Eastern Region to sit down with Western Branch 2 way star and ODU verbal commit, Zach Rutherford. A steady competitor on the bump and at the plate, Rutherford has displayed a mid-80s fastball and stellar defensive capabilities that will not only help the Bruins content for an Eastern Region crown in 2013, but inevitably open opportunities for Rutherford to see the field early in his collegiate career for the Monarchs.
